What are all those FRx files and why do I need them?
Here is a list of the common files in FRx. We explain what it is and why you need it.
FRxSys32.mdb
This file holds paths (spec sets and companies) and FRx system information. It is located in the SysData directory.
ActSys32.mdb
This file holds registration for accounting system type. It is located in the SysData directory.
FRxrpts.f32
The file holds spec sets (NEVER DELETE). It is located in the SysData directory.
.mdb
Microsoft Database files, located in the SysData directory.
.f32
Holds registrations for accounting system type; holds building blocks (NEVER DELETE). This file is located in the SysData directory.
.g32
Links to GL -- looks at the account structire/files in Dynamics (Ok to Delete and recreate). It is located in the SysData Directory.
.frd
Drill Down Viewer file. It is located in the IO_Data directory.
.frv
Drill Down Viewer file. Not zipped. It is located in the IT_Data directory.
.ldb
Lock Database file -- locks while.g32 is in use. Should delete themselves when FRx is exited. This file is located in the SysData directory.
Regsrv32.exe
Used to register .dll files. Located in the System32 Directory.
FRx.ini
Holds the last company logged into (rename this file if FRX needs to be reinstalled). It is located in Windows directory.
FRx32.cfg
Holds path to Sysdata (Directory=row). It is located in the FRx code directory.
System.cfg
Holds system preferences. If the path to the Sysdata will not "hold" at the workstation, rename all.
